I have been in love with photography all of my life, but recognized it as a calling in 2007 when I entered grad school and began taking photographs of my friends for fun.
I love photographing people, but particularly enjoy capturing their emotions. There is something, both magical and motivating, in the ability to create images that resonate deeply with the viewers that see them. I get to create these types of images mostly through photographing weddings and engagements. I thoroughly enjoy capturing the genuine intimacy, sentiment and symbolic details connected to this type of shooting.
I also have a base in commercial photography which is more fashion driven, as fashion photography was truly my first love .
My work has appeared in both local and international blogs and print publications which makes me happy to know that I produce images that are worth sharing.
My philosophy on what I do is simple: You simply have to love what you do! Being a photographer is not just a job. What I do is essentially a part of who I am. It inhabits every corner and fibre of my being.
I have a master’s degree in literature. I love to read! I’m intrigued by many different visual art forms. I’m also very inspired by the tv show Chopped, and love experimenting with food and cooking for myself.
I’m currently based in Nassau, Bahamas but available to shoot in the wider Caribbean, the U.S.A. U.K., and Canada .”
